Meet Your Anchors

With a proven, strengths-based approach, we enable organizations to identify their goals, empower their teams, and achieve their mission.

Dr. Todd Russ

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

With over three decades in Christian education, Todd has served as a teacher, principal and administrator in K-12 schools across Florida, Colorado, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. More recently, Todd has discovered his passion for consulting and enjoys providing strategic insights to help people achieve their faith-based mission.  He challenges organizations to not just create a mission statement that gathers dust, but to actively align their mission, vision, and core values as part of their daily operating system.

Though Todd hasn’t been on the “Shark Tank” TV show, he once unintentionally swam with sharks in the ocean.  If you’ve ever wondered what that might be like (or maybe have had an experience like that at work), Todd has successfully navigated that real life challenge and many others like it.  He’s easy to relate to, has a knack for uncovering hidden challenges, and knows how to guide others with straight-forward questions, keen insight, and helpful tools.  If you or your organization is feeling stuck, wondering what to do next, or just in need of some helpful best practices to advance your faith-based mission, Todd would love to talk with you.

Strengths: Ideation, Context, Restorative, Strategic, Belief

Shawn brings a wealth of experience in Christian education, with over 25 years of experience as a teacher, principal, coach, and administrator.  Having seen the challenges and burnout that teachers and faith-based organizations face, he is passionate about helping others build a balanced, three-legged stool of spiritual, emotional, and physical health, so they can serve God and others with increased strength, joy, and resilience.

Shawn is a great listener and is one of those people who doesn’t just give advice, he lives it.  As a certified Christian Leadership Coach, he knows the importance of putting on his own oxygen mask before helping others.  He’s created a Personal Resiliency Plan and loves to help others create theirs as well.  If you work with Shawn or one of his coaches, you will learn the difference between “positive stress” and “negative stress” and how to navigate both your challenges and opportunities with a toolkit in place.  If you’ve ever wondered if a supportive (and challenging) coach could help you perform better, or if you could just use some encouragement from someone who has been in the trenches like you, reach out to Shawn – he’d love to listen, provide Christian encouragement, and answer your questions.
